Most of our customers are homeowners with a roof that has reached the end of its working life, a leak nobody has managed to trace, or a flat roof over an extension that fails every winter. We also work for landlords, letting agents and owners of Grade II listed and conservation properties across the Cotswolds. The work splits into three strands. Pitched roofing in tile and slate, from single-slope repairs to full strip-and-re-roof with new underlay and battens. Flat roofing in felt, GRP fibreglass and EPDM rubber, specified as warm or cold deck so the structure breathes properly instead of trapping moisture. And the detail work that most leaks actually start at, leadwork, chimney flashings, valleys, fascias, soffits and guttering. Steven Thomas is City & Guilds qualified and works across all aspects of roofing, renovation and construction. That depth matters most on the awkward jobs: a listed roof where the council has requirements about materials, a valley that has been patched three times by others, or a property where the leak shows up two metres from where the water is actually getting in. We work across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, Witney, Stonesfield, Woodstock, Charlbury, Chipping Norton, Burford and the surrounding villages. Because the base is in Stonesfield rather than a city depot, a second visit to finish a detail properly is a short local drive rather than an argument about travel. Mission and standards ## How we work, every job ### The roof is inspected before it is priced We get onto the roof or into the loft before quoting, so the price reflects what is actually failing rather than a guess made from the pavement. Where the cause is not obvious, we say so and explain how we will find it. ### Fixed prices, written down You receive a written, fixed-price scope you can compare against other quotes. If something unforeseen appears once the covering is off, hidden rot, a failed timber, it is priced and agreed with you before we carry on. ### Photographic evidence on completion Roofs are the one part of a house owners never see. We photograph what we find and what we leave behind, so the work is evidenced rather than described. ### The site is left clean Skips, sheeting and nail sweeping are part of the job, not an extra. Neighbouring drives, gardens and parked cars are protected before the strip begins. ### Guarantees stated before you commit The guarantee term for your specific job appears on the quote, not in small print afterwards, 5 years on repairs through to 20 years on new pitched, GRP and EPDM roofs. ### You speak to the person running the job Ring 07460 072297 and you reach Steven Thomas or a member of his team, not a call centre selling the enquiry on to whoever is nearest. ## Accreditations - City & Guilds qualified - Construction Award Alliance - Classic Bond EPDM approved installer - Restec GRP approved installer ## By the numbers 100+Five-star Checkatrade reviews 9.83/10From 159 Checkatrade reviews £5,000,000Public liability insurance Up to 20 yearsWorkmanship guarantee ## Guarantees - Roof repairs5 years - New pitched roofs20 years - New flat roof, felt system15 years - New flat roof, GRP or EPDM rubber20 yearsQuotes and inspections are free.
