# Terms & Conditions
The basis on which we quote for and carry out roofing work.

## Who you contract with
Work is carried out by Storm Guard Roofing Limited, 11 Cockshoot Close, Stonesfield, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX29 8ED. Two permanent employees carry out most work, with trusted subcontractors used on larger projects.

## Quotes and inspections
Quotes and inspections are free and carry no obligation. A quote sets out the scope of work and the price for that scope. If work outside the quoted scope becomes necessary, for example hidden timber decay found once a covering is removed, it is quoted and agreed with you separately before it is carried out.

## Emergency call-outs
Emergency call-outs carry a fee of £150 + VAT. That covers attendance and making the roof safe or watertight as far as is possible at the time. Any permanent repair or further work is quoted separately.

## Payment
We accept payment by cash, card or bank transfer.

## Guarantees
Guarantee terms depend on the type of work and are stated on your quote:

- Roof repairs5 years
- New pitched roofs20 years
- New flat roof, felt system15 years
- New flat roof, GRP or EPDM rubber20 yearsGuarantees cover our workmanship on the work we carried out. They do not cover damage caused by other trades, alterations made by others, or failure of parts of the roof outside the quoted scope.

## Insurance
We hold £5,000,000 public liability insurance. Evidence can be provided on request before work begins.

## Records of work
We provide before and after photographic reports so completed work can be seen without going onto the roof.
